"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." BuddhaPutting your thoughts in the present moment when playing golf is crucial to challenging par. Learn to control your emotions and thoughts on the course, it's as important as the physical motion of the golf swing, if not more important. Allow yourself freedom from negative thoughts and let your body do what it knows how to do and that means keeping your head out of the swing.
