Putting your thoughts in the present moment when playing golf is crucial to challenging par. Learn to control your emotions and thoughts on the course, it's as important as the physical motion of the golf swing, if not more important.

Allow yourself freedom from negative thoughts and let your body do what it knows how to do and that means keeping your head out of the swing. That's not to say you have to stop thinking but control what and when you think.

Read some books on the mind and golf, there are some very good ones. It's an investment in your golf game and perhaps your life.

Thoughts on Golf

  • You are what you are thinking at any moment, there is no exception!

  • The laws of the universe are always working for you. If you think you can, you will! If you think you can't, you won't.

  • Chances are your last thought will effect the shot you make!

  • Your best shots will be those where you aren't worried about the result!

  • Smile and laugh alot!

  • If you think about not going in the water, guess where it's going, that's right, water!

  • Be grateful you're able to play golf, many people can't!

  • Your first thought is probably right. Trust it!

  • If it feels wrong it just might be right!

  • Play only to your ability!

  • You're only as good as your last shot!

  • Those who control their thoughts the best, WIN!

  • Know the rules, they can help lower your score!

  • Learn from all your shots, good or bad!

  • Patience is a virtue!

  • Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing try something new.
